Experience Training with SWP for Organisations & Charities

 We provide safeguarding training (Levels 1 and 2 for both adult and children) tailored for staff teams, governors, and trustees across a range of settings, including education, charities, care environments, and foster care. Our courses also support designated safeguarding leads and named safeguarding professionals, ensuring a consistent and informed approach to safeguarding across all levels of responsibility. 

My experience in community, education and care settings enables me to have insight to ensure relevance for whole staff teams.

 We provide comprehensive mental health and wellbeing training for educators and professionals working with young people in charities and voluntary organisations. Our courses include Mental Health First Aid, trauma-informed practice, positive behaviour, and sensory training (indoors and outdoors) . 

Each session is designed to equip individuals and teams with the knowledge and practical tools needed to create supportive, inclusive environments that nurture the mental health and emotional wellbeing of the young people they serve. 

As a Teacher and Social Worker I am very aware of the impact on the Child as well as the settings of young people's experiences and communication through behaviour due to,

-Adverse Childhood Experiences

-Trauma

-Unresolved experiences of Abuse

-Attachment issues (Secure, anxious, avoidant, disorganised).

Therefore I can support individuals and teams to develop relational responses  through bespoke training and strategies to meet better the needs of the young person.

Through specialised training with NAPPI UK (Non abusive psycological physical interventions) I deliver level 1,2 & 3 PBS interventions focusing on prevention, early assessment and defusing. There are also elements of self protection and keeping safe.

I am always looking at how we can develop better and further the services I deliver so this space will be for those new developments in the future.
