At SWP Training, we are passionate about ensuring that young people who are struggling within mainstream education are still able to access learning. We offer Alternative Provision for schools and local authorities to refer into and are registered with Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver these services.

Our team consists of qualified (PGCE / CertEd / QTLS) and experienced professionals who specialise across a wide range of educational pathways. This includes specialist and vocational subjects, as well as Entry Level, Levels 1, 2, and 3 qualifications. We also deliver GCSEs, with a strong focus on English, Maths, and Science.
Current space

I am a degree qualified Psychologist and Counsellor as well as having multiple qualifications in core subjects.
Although I am specialising in wellbeing and therapeutic person centred interventions I am also happy to tutor in core subjects. I run the talking room at SWP.

I am a Cert Ed (QTLS) qualified Teacher with 12 years experience of working within Alternative Provision and have been Head of Centre and Director of my own company. I am currently a Personal Trainer specialising in physical wellbeing and healthy lifestyles.

My degree is in Audio Production but I am also qualified in core subjects.
My specialism is science and maths. I am a lecturer at the Sherwood Planetarium where I run the STEM classes as well as deliver sessions on beginner to advanced Astronomy.
